Tomorrow doesn’t wait! The podcast that gives the floor to Nicolas Métro

Article du 18 March 2021

It is a great pleasure to welcome NICOLAS METRO, founder of the company KINOME for this new episode of Demain N’attend Pas.

After a classic and brilliant first life as an executive at LVMH, Ubisoft and M6, Nicolas chose to dedicate his time to the Trees. He works so that we, our children, our grandchildren -from here and elsewhere- can live fully thanks to a rich and diverse nature.💪

Nicolas started with a simple observation; you don’t cut down a tree that has standing value. Since then, with his team and his many partners, he has been working with scientists and carrying out projects that bring value to forests all over the world and particularly in Africa. Because they provide food, water, care and economic resources to the communities of men and women who live alongside them, trees are protected, replanted and valued. More than a million people have already seen their daily lives improve thanks to these projects.

🎙 In this episode, Nicolas tells us how this desire to put himself at the service of nature gradually germinated and led him to leave the comfort of his executive life.

🎙 He makes us discover how Kinomé is working on solving complex problems of forest revalorization, by gathering all stakeholders around the table: country authorities, international institutions, scientists, companies, NGOs, & local communities.

🎙 And he also presents what he is doing here in France with the Forest&Life programme, to replant but above all to make future generations aware of their link with nature, by having children plant a tree before they turn 10.

I am convinced that Nicolas’ message will touch you all. He speaks to us about our relationship with Nature, about the long time and redefines the value of a company through the richness of the links it creates.

We hope you enjoy listening to him!
